Kathy Barrett is the Executive Director at Shelby Manor, bringing 40 years of dedicated experience in senior living to her leadership role. Her lifelong passion for caregiving and making a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors inspired her to enter the field four decades ago. Kathy thrives on cultivating a loving, family-oriented environment where residents truly feel at home. As a true “people person,” her favorite aspect of the community is engaging with the clinical side. This allows her to spend valuable one-on–one time with the residents, which is her absolute favorite activity. Outside of work, Kathy loves spending quality time with her son and her mama. She is an avid fan of rodeos, and nothing makes her day quite like enjoying some chili cheese fries with a Mellow Yellow. Favorite Quote: Blessed Beyond Measure

Patricia Butler, known as Tricia, is in her 17th year serving Shelby Manor as Business Office Coordinator. Her devotion to her job, residents and their families, along with the staff, is the driving force in her workday. Her job requires flexibility along with detailed orientated work to make sure everything flows smoothly. Most recently she became a Grandmother and is enjoying growing in that role too. Loving care is never out of style.

Chelsey Cole is a dedicated member of the Shelby Manor team, serving as the Life Enrichment Coordinator. With three years of experience in healthcare, Chelsey has found a true passion for working with seniors and creating meaningful experiences for the residents she serves.
Chelsey loves spending time with her residents, getting to know their stories, building genuine relationships, and finding creative ways to bring joy, laughter, and purpose to their everyday lives. She enjoys planning activities, special events, outings, celebrations, and community experiences that give residents opportunities to make memories and feel connected. Prior to entering healthcare, Chelsey worked in law enforcement, where she gained valuable experience in communication, leadership, organization, and working with people from all walks of life. She feels that background, combined with her compassionate and outgoing personality, has helped shape the way she connects with others today. Outside of work, Chelsey is a proud mom of three. She loves spending time with her family, pursuing her hobby of photography, and coaching her daughter’s cheerleading team. She considers it a privilege to spend each day making a difference in the lives of the residents and is proud to be part of the Shelby Manor family.

I have always believed that food is a powerful way to show care, especially to those who need it most. This philosophy has guided my 14-year career in the food service industry. After spending eight years refining my craft as a cook, I stepped into the role of Dietary Manager six years ago to make a broader impact on the communities I serve. As a Servsafe certified professional, ensuring that our vulnerable populations receive safe, nutritious, and compliant meals is my top priority. My career is anchored by my deep respect and love for the elderly. This passion for feeding others extends beyond my professional life- on my days off, you will still find me in the kitchen, cooking up a storm for my family and friends.

Rick is a valued part of Sheby Manor Assisted Living Community, serving as Maintenance Manager for the past 3 1/2 years. He brings strong mechanical, technical and problem solving skills to his role and takes pride in helping keep the community safe, comfortable and running smoothly while supporting a welcoming environment for everyone.
Outside of work, Rick has been happily married for 37 years and is a proud father of one son. Family is an important part of his life, and he brings this same sense of care, connection and appreciation for the residents of the community.
Rick, also enjoys golfing, fishing and boating, especially when he can spend time outdoors or on the water with family and friends.
